International Adoption
Our agency merged with Nightlight Christian Adoptions on January 1, 2017. We have 15 country programs you can adopt from in addition to waiting children on our website, Adoption Bridge.
Adopting internationally is an exciting adoption journey for families to add to their family by adopting cross-culturally. You are able to travel abroad during your process and see where your child lives and experience their culture first hand. Children available through international adoption are orphans and most are living in orphanage institutions and need a permanent, loving, supportive family.
“Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress.” James 1:27
In international adoption, you are offered the ability to identify a waiting child through some country programs or specify the age and gender of a desired child. In domestic adoption, the adoptive family waits to be chosen by a birthmother. Many families prefer international adoption because there are specific timelines established by countries determining when you would be able to adopt after submitting paperwork.
Won’t you prayerfully consider God’s call to care for the orphans?
“A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in His holy dwelling. God sets the lonely in families.” Psalm 68:5-6
