We are excited to announce that we have opened a second location in Austin, Texas, just south of our central office in Waco. For years, we have had part-time staff serving birthmothers and families in Austin but started to see the need for a full office to better assist our clients. An opportunity to be a part of an incredible ministry and office location came our way and we felt the Lord leading us to plant ourselves firmly into Austin. We saw the need in Austin for a Christian adoption agency serving women, children, and families in this community and we are thrilled that God provided the perfect opportunity for us to extend ourselves from our main office in Waco.

This office is located in the For the City Center on I-35 and St. John’s Ave in north-central Austin. The For the City Center is a mission of Austin Stone Community Church and houses various non-profits serving the city of Austin. We are blessed to be in this building among organizations serving foster children, refugees, victims of sex trafficking, and at-risk children. This building provides office space for our staff as well as conference and training rooms of various sizes, available to us for free for meeting with birthmothers or training adoptive families.

We moved into our space in October 2015 with three staff. Heather McAnear, our Education Supervisor, is working full-time in our office and Michelle Crawford and Beverly Quinn are part-time caseworkers focusing their work on birthmothers and adoptive families. Our Austin staff are very excited to be serving our new community of birthmothers, adoptive families, and churches.

In December, we hosted our Austin Office Housewarming Party to meet our new neighbors and show our office to our supporters, partners, and adoptive families in the Austin area. Our Waco staff joined us for this Christmas themed party and took some fun pictures alongside our guests.
